What are the basic shoeing principles for fitting a horseshoe regarding our horses' farriering needs?
The way I try to help the equine achieve their destiny is to help enhance their systems by monitoring the macro pathology changes I can recognise externally and allow my findings to influence the steps I take in allowing the animal to bring about change in their body that enables them to comprehend and monitor the changes they need to establish lives destiny. I cannot grow new tissue for the horse; I can only help enhance their system to do that. Only individual animals can bring about change in their bodies, but I can stop or influence that change with my shoeing strategy; it is the same if you are treating the upper body of the animal.
For they are your teachers, and you are their students, and the better student you become the better destiny they have through life.
Here is where what I have outlined in the pages of my books all comes to help you understand the shoeing process and your influence over the equine system when you fit a horseshoe to their feet. Suppose you comprehend how the individual system works, grows and reacts to gravity's influence on the distal limbs' loading system. In that case, you can acknowledge when your intervention of trimming and placing a horseshoe to their feet is congruent with the body’s rhythms of life.
