Introducing
Animal Biomechanical Solutions

A Lifetime of Creations

Animal Biomechanical Solutions facilitates professional animal clinics and treatments, specialising in biomechanical medicine across all animals and in the science of orthopaedic balance in equines, with a focus on their relationship to upper-body musculoskeletal alignment. We hold equine trimming courses for all participants wishing to attend and host animal chiropractic courses for Veterinarians and Doctors of Chiropractic through The BackBone Academy. Our clinics and hosting of The BackBone courses are held regularly throughout the calendar year.

Dr. Lena Clifford also applies her unique skills in complementary therapies, including acupuncture, Chinese herbal remedies, and biomechanical therapy, to all types of animals in our clients' care.

We are based in Biarra, Queensland, but we regularly travel internationally to lecture and consult on animal health.

To All Responsible Horse Owners and Professionals

Do you want to know how to ensure the health of your or your client's horses, or do you want to learn how to trim your horse's feet or even become an accredited animal chiropractor? Then, join us at Twin Peakes Farm, the home of Animal Biomechanical Solutions and BackBone Academy Australia, as we offer the ideal environment for expanding your expertise in animal health.

Why choose us for this learning experience? The reason is that through our chiropractic courses or trimming clinics, you will be given the most up-to-date information on the biomechanics and functional anatomy that applies to all animals, and of the equine foot and the relationship between the horse's distal limb and upper body. If you are a veterinarian or Doctor of Chiropractic, you can have your certification recognised internationally by attending our animal chiropractic course. Leading to the quality of life and soundness for our trusted animal companions and friends.

Your instructors for the trimming clinics are Dr Lena Clifford, DVM, PhD, Dip, and Darrall Clifford, TAE Cert IV, and founder of Equine Orthopaedic Balance®, both of whom are internationally recognised and respected leaders in animal biomechanical medicine. Your lectures for the animal chiropractic course are delivered by Dr Ines Wecker, DVM, and Dr Lena Clifford, DVM, and the course is certified by the BackBone Academy Australia. So, you can be assured you will receive science-reviewed and clinically tested information and best practices for the daily task of chiropractic adjustment and trimming the equine foot.

Twin Peakes Farm provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere with modern facilities, including our air-conditioned lecture room, undercover trimming facilities and safe and clean day yards for your equine friends while they wait for you to attend to them after lunch. If you are concerned about parking your big rig, don't be; we have ample space for the biggest of rigs.

To secure your place at one of our clinics, please book through the "Our Events Schedule"—this is the only way to guarantee your spot. If you are interested in the animal chiropractic course, click on "Veterinary Chiropractic Course" in the top toolbar to be redirected to the BackBone Academy page, where you can register your interest.

Our team looks forward to welcoming you to our clinics or course days and supporting you in ensuring a healthy, long life for your animal friends.
